Outcall Alert

A message sent to any toll-free number notifies you of a new voicemail or fax message. You can enable Outcall Alert and and create outcall schedules anytime using your WebManager. Mobile Alert allows you to receive Outcall Alerts on any 10-digit number in the domestic U.S., including your mobile phone.

Instruction for setting up Outcall Alert in PhoneManager:

To turn Outcall Alert on or off

1. From the main menu, press 4-1.
2. Press 7 to turn notification on or off.
When a message is received in your mailbox and notification is on, your outcall number will be dialed, and if you answer the call you will be given the opportunity to hear your message. If you do not answer, a notification message will be left. The caller ID that you will see for Outcall Alert will be your voicemail access number, "866-303-0529".

To set your outcall number

1. From the main menu, press 4-1-8.
2. Enter your toll-free outcall number, or if you have Mobile Alert enter any 10-digit number in the Domestic U.S., including your mobile phone.
 

To set your Outcall Alert schedule

1. From the main menu, press 4-1.
2. Press 9 to access the Outcall Schedule.
3. Follow the prompts to set your desired notification schedule. You’ll have the option of choosing weekdays and weekend days for notification.
Note: Enter times as four digits using military time. For example, 8:00 am would be entered as 0-8-0-0 and 8:00 pm would be entered as 2-0-0-0. Click here for a regular to military time conversion table.
4. Select whether you want notification for all
or urgent messages. Press 3 to specify "urgent only".
5. Press 5 to activate your outcall schedule.

You can easily setup and manage your Outcall Alerts in WebManager.
