Transferring a call to an extension

1. Order “call transfer disconnect” on the line that calls will be transferred from. You can order this feature by calling Customer Care at 888.772.4724.
2. The caller calls in to a line associated with voice mail and the receptionist answers. The caller asks to leave a message with an extension.
3. The receptionist dials (programmed in speed dial) 866.303.0529* then the voicemail system answers and the receptionist is prompted to enter the “mailbox number” of the person they would like to leave a message for. The receptionist then enters 10 digit main mailbox number and hears the greeting as a caller would when dialing in.
4. The receptionist presses the appropriate extension and then transfers the call.
