Extended Absence Greeting

You can record an extended absence greeting if you will be out of the office or otherwise unavailable to callers. When you record your extended absence greeting you will have the choice of accepting message deposits or not allowing message deposits. If you do not allow message deposits, callers will hear your extended absence greeting but not have the option to leave a message for your main mailbox and extensions.

When you enable your extended absence greeting, every time you login to PhoneManager you will be asked whether you would like to enable or disable your extended absence greeting.

Extended absence greeting cannot be enabled for individual extensions.

You can manage your extended absence greeting with WebManager or PhoneManager.

Managing your extended absence greeting in PhoneManager:

• Press options 4-3-3 to record your extended absence greeting and # when you are finished. Once recorded, your extended absence greeting will immediately become active.
•

Press 1 to disable message deposit, or 2 to enable message deposit while while your extended absence greeting in active."
• To delete your extended absence greeting press 7 when prompted at login.

Your extended absence greeting can be disabled and heard on your WebManager.
